Stock Break Vs Stock Brembo
How about this. I'm considering to get the 350Z touring over 350Z track. The only different between these 2 cars is just the brakes. Is it really worthed to consider from 350Z touring to 350Z track just for the Brembo breaks? Because i seen lot's of people upgrade their brembo brakes, which sounds that the brembo brake didn't do the job significantly.
I hope this is better. Thanks

Depends on your aplication. If you intend to track the car then the Brembos are definately the way to go. The Touring brakes are just fine for stoping the car but repeated stopping from high speeds would cook the system pretty good. You need a rotor/caliper that can cool quicker and the brembos are your answer, if you intend to stay stock.
If, however, you buy the car and will have money leftover people have been doing the Stoptech front brake upgrade which more then matches and even beats the Brembos. The reason I went for the Track is because I love the rims and planned on tracking the car, little more up front capital for a whole lot of fun. If you plan/have the money to upgrade the wheels and brakes then go for the Touring. If you would like a great track car from the factory and don't mind the rays wheels, then even the cheapest aftermarket wheels and big brake upgrade would cost double the cost of moving to the track model. It's as much personal preference as performance.
I think most people have been upgrading for looks. Stoptech systems uses a cross drilled, sloted, vented rotor as apposed to the Brembos vented, matched with the huge red calipper and you have enough extra points in a judging competition. Stoptech also uses a bigger rotor which would fill 19" wheels much better. You can go nuts if you wanted and pick up AP Racing or Stoptech's 6 piston calipers for crazy a$$ stopping, but I think people have been switching more for look unless they need some full race application brakes. The pads used on the Brembos are a little dissapointing but one quick change and your in happy land again.

Like digerydingo said unless you are going to track the the car the regular brakes are OK, I just got some front Brembo's from a Track owner and they are much better can't wait for the track event to see the difference.
At this point I wish I had gone for the Track model, I am almost there all that is missing is the rear Brembo's, VDC and tire pressure sensors.
I say go with the track if you got a the money to dish out. People get after market break upgrades but, like "westpak" said, the VDC/Tire pressure sensors/Forged ultralight RAYS/ and the ABS Brembo's make a huge difference in my opinion. It's all personal preferance but nothing beats having warrenty on high performance parts and things like ABS and VDC is worth the extra $$$.
