Nice link to the rotors, too bad its two weeks too late for me.

Like others have said, you're going to have to beat the holy chit out of that rotor. Use the metal hammer method. I put a thick T-shirt over the rotor and beat the holy crap of mine. It finally let go...

um, you have 70,000 miles on those rotors and you think its a good idea to turn them? Have you measured them?

good luck

those little clips that hold the ebrake shoes on aren't what keeps the rotor from being forced off,

yes back that adjuster off but it's the corosion you are fighting,

that rotor and the hub have become one... gotta show em who is the boss

[also, wear gloves to protect them knuckles[and goggles to keep the eye juices on the inside[and jack stands[and don't forget the condom]]]]
BE SAFE! "chicks dig scars" is a myth mangled people tell each other (from one who had a pinkie reattached (well like nearly headless nick - mostly reattached)

Lolz, they don't dig them but they certainly don't mind them if you take care of them. At least my g/f doesn't mind me missing parts of my left femur, but I make a point of it not affecting my mobility

I live in a tey ghey condo development. I had to kiss serious a** (jump starts and free oil changes) to get people to look the other way when I'm tuning the carbs on my bike, or got the car on 4 jack stands for a half hour oil change.

I try to avoid beating the sh*t out of the rotors if I can quitely heat them for 2 minutes and hit them once. But to each their own. There is probably more satisfaction if you beat them off.

this happened to me and i almost killed myself lol! it pissed me off for two hours! one side of the rear slipped off with ease, it literally fell off i didn't even hit it. but the other side was hell. rubber mallet sucks. take the wood, and hit on either side of the back of the rotor HARD! hit the rotor on top, than put the wood on bottom and hit there, and then on the sides. hit each side proportionally so it pops off. it will come off trust me.

I changed mine just this past Sunday. I just set the block of wood 2x4 on the edge of the hat and gave it a couple good hits and they popped right off.
