Default need struts?

I took my 06 in to have the front end aligned, the service tech said my struts are worn out because the inside of my front tires are worn and are "cupped". Looking at the Nissian warranty, it says struts are lifetime free replacement, anybody know if what I am being told is true? thanks

You didn't mention mileage but with an '06, it can't be much, not enough to wear out the struts already.

You don't have a lifetime replacement on anything, but chances are you're still under warranty so if the front struts are worn, then you should get them replaced.

Default struts

Sorry, forgot to mention the car has 27,000 on it. If is the struts, the service tech said they should be covered under the 36,000 warranty.

so was this "service tech" at an independent shop or firestone type deal?

if so good luck convincing the dealer they are bad. worn struts can cause cupping, but most likely your cupping is just the normal Z cupping.

what type of tires do you have?

Please search feathered front tires. Technically different from cupped tires. Photos always helpful. 27,000 miles I have to assume that the shocks are good.
