Default Getting a bit more drop from HKS Hipermax RS? An interesting problem

So here's the deal...I have an 'interracial' rear suspension setup: Apex'i N1 ExV dampers with HKS Hipermax 2 coilovers. The problem is I need just a little bit more drop in the rear.

I have the Hipermax coilovers set to their maximum lowest point which is, according to HKS, 44mm drop (1.73"). Actually, to be specific, mine are even lower, because I've taken out the adjustment ring from the threaded collar, which takes it down about another 5mm or so.

What is the best option anyone can suggest that will get me down about 10 more millimeters? Should I just say f*ck it and cut 1cm off of the spring, since it's such a small amount? The only other thing I can think of, short of purchasing an entire new coilover system, is to use another brand of spring that is slightly shorter than HKSs, and use the adjustment collars to raise it back up if they take it too low.

Do any of the spring experts in here know what other springs for the Z are rated roughly the same as the Hipermax RS springs, but are a bit lower? This is very hard to research, since the Hipermax springs aren't sold separate from the coilover kit I dont know what their specs are.

I'm assuming you've done the spring mount mod or no? Are you able to with your setup, I'm not familiar with your dampers or coilovers.
