Rain drops
Like most all cars made after the 80s the Z has no drip rails/rain gutters. These great inventions were a mainstay on all cars, grand and modest, starting in the 1920s. Eliminating them made cars sleeker, more aerodynamic and removed one cause of high-pitched wind noise. Sporty cars like the Z also feature side windows that curve inward wrapping smoothly into the roof. This exasperates the problem, bringing the water deeper into the car.
Not every car treats you to this indignity, check out the 2015 and later Mustangs, they have a little V shape along the edge of the roof to wick water away.
I don’t know how much road crown is also in the downhill road where you park. However, if you stop on a perfectly level spot, you can expect both the driver and the passenger to get an equal spritzing.
