Stoptech Stage 2 Kit
Ordered the stage 2 kit.. I've done rotors n pads many times before, but never replaced the lines.
Do I really need to use these new lines that came with the kit? or will my stock lines be fine?
I'd rather not be messing with the lines and bleeding the system since I've never done it before.

you don't have to do the lines. the purpose of stainless steel lines is so when you brake, the hose doesn't stretch. when the hose stretches, it cause the brake pedal gets softer. if your current lines are in good condition, you don't need to replace the lines.
if you track your z (or plan to), replacing the lines is a good idea. if you're uncomforable changing the lines, you can do the pads and rotor yourself and take it to a shop to change the lines. if you do this route, keep in mind that you don't have to take it to a tuner shop. any auto service or repair shop can do this. just make sure they have competent mechanics and you should be good. you may save a buck or 2 this way. make sure to shop around for some prices...
