My New Suspension
Everyone loves new car parts, and I'm no different . It felt like Christmas came early this year. A whole 8 months early that is .
Onward with pics:
They are HKS Hipermax III.
Special shoutouts to SP Engineering for an awesome deal (PM SPEngineeringEUGE for pricing), and to my local shop Z-Tune Motorsports for the install
So far, we've left them at the factory default adjustment settings to start with (i.e. 20 clicks from stiffest setting; 30 clicks is softest) and we'll see how it goes from there. The ride height is set somewhere between lowered and stock height as I wanted to be a wee bit more streetable. As you all know, Alex (Nitrouz) loves his rides slammed (i.e. good looks are just as important as the performance factor sounds like cars and women are on par here ) but I wanted to be able to go to most places without problems. Paid a pretty penny for them but the ride is surprisingly compliant. To Andy@Performance, you weren't kidding about the ride comfort. It's awesome for daily driving. BTW, I upgraded from TEIN Basic coilovers.
Hoping to get more seat time before submitting a full review.
