Can I piggy back off yours - and add the question-
  • How long did the HPs last before replacement ? -- IE do they blow pretty quickly since they are tokico bottom line? Im looking at these too

I just got mine. I've had hotchkis springs on for 20,000 miles, so i'm imagining my stock shocks are gone. hopefully will have them on by this weekend. will update when after they're done.

ok, just got them installed today. while I haven't been hard on them in a corner just yet, they do feel great. I was getting that "floating" sensation with the stock shocks after 20,000 miles of hotchkis springs.

With the new shocks, it's like when I 1st installed the springs. Car settles a lot better after hitting bumps.

Long end short, it was a great investment. Not too stiff, but I have regained confidence that all tires are within as much of contact with the ground at all times.

Two thumbs up! Not sure how they'd handle out on a track, but my car is tuned for "spiratable street driving".

Tanabe gf210's?

HORRIBLE spring..took it off in just one week of driving.

hate to burst everybody's bubble, but i rode on tokico HP blues for one week before they got all soft on me.....then i bought D-specs which i am on my second week now and they are all soft on me and they have been adjusted to full stiff.....i started out at 4 turns from full stiff....and over a week i had to keep adjusting to compensate!!!!!!!!!!

stay away from tokico...they are a BUNK strut!

i wasted 900.00 in a month on both.....i am going coilovers cause i just CANT ride around like this....i don't want to die with sloppy handling
