Default Got taller tires, looking for a drop

Got my wheels installed over the weekend. I ended up going with taller tires, because of what I had in hand and of what I could realistically afford and so on and on.

I ended up with:

245-40-19 Fronts .8" taller

&

255-40-19 Rears .7" taller

Now before i go ahead and lower the car, i initially wanted the Tanabe GF210 setup. But because of the taller tires, currently with stock suspensions it covers most of the wheel gap in the front. The rear there is still a noticeable amount of wheel gap.

I want to avoid the "tucked" wheels look, so maybe I should go with S-techs instead? Or could it be I have no idea what Im talking about and could just all in my head?

I would have used the lowering money for the proper tires.

The tall tires dont seem to effect ride or handling that much, but again my car is DD so nothing is noticeable.

I opted for the 40 sidewall to give me some room in the terrible NYC streets.

taller tires affect the speedometer..
but you're under an inch diff, so things should be fine..

and 40 sidewall doesnt mean much.. because the height of the sidewall also depends on the width of the wheels/tires

and if you want the flushed look, i would say get spacers.. or new wheels with better offsets

Tire calculator says i'll be slow by 3 mph. My offsets are 30mm front and 33mm rear. They are the G35 19" wheels btw.

I have spacers i am planning to put on 20mm for the fronts and 25mm rear. I'm just trying to avoid the "tucked" look.

Okay sorry for the confusion....the "tucked" looked i was referring to was the wheel arches over the wheels/tires. For example the "slammed" look.

The "tucked" i got everyone confused on was the high offset problem ppl have once lowered. Not referring to this....

SORRY!!!!
