Default Finally got Brembo Brakes... Off an R35...

After some simple negotiating I was able to secure a complete
brembo setup off a sub 1000 mile R35. I will shortly begin the process
of fitment, bracket design, etc. Suffice it to say I love GOLD.

If you don't think it can be done - you're wrong, ask the guys at
endless-r in japan (http://www.endless-r.com/item.php?item=637).
Apparently there is a similar setup on a car from the TAS a year ago.
Anyone with any info on that car, please step up.

A simple teaser to give you an idea of scale below.

Wish me luck.

how do you plan to balance out the brake bias to work properly on the 350z?

Hopefully my trusted mechanic will be able to sort out the details. Any input you've
got would be appreciated.

I will try to post some updates as they get installed. My first trip to the
mechanic will be more exploratory than anything else. Like I said earlier,
any input on this exercise would be greatly appreciated.

Is your mechanic also a machinist?

because you are going to have to make an adapter bracket.

^ I divined through the nets i would need a relatively refined template and
a talented machinist. I think my "mechanic" can help me source what I am
looking for.

Yep, I am a genius.

Because most mechanics are not worth two ***** when it comes to the EXTREMELY precise measurements needed for brake caliper brackets.

I simply posted that so you would know it was required.

Do you have any clue how many people have posted a thread like this only to post a horror story a short while later about how everything went completely wrong?

But since you know it all I guess you know exactly what material the bracket needs to be.

With my rear kit..I was the 1rst one in the states to have them, and the brackets had to be redone because they were ~2mil to narrow on the inside L- portion. Lets just say it almost caused a serious accident. Measure twice and congrats again. -

The endless-r link has a photo of a bracket very similar to that
Which I will require. The rears... Well that's another story.
