Coilover tuning help
I bought a set of Attack coilovers for my '06 350Z and had them installed at my local shop. The ride was incredibly stiff and unforgiving. I tried to use the dampening ***** on the strut, but it did not help. I have had cut springs that rode better than these. After about a year of pounding and my GFs complaints, the lower mounting bracket on the front drivers side broke. I switched back to the stock springs and struts, in hopes that I could weld a new mounting bracket on the coilover.
I need to know what I should do at this point. I have been thinking that maybe I could "tune" the coilovers. I have searched on this site for tuning techniques for coilovers, but cant find anything on the topic. Or I could take it to a reputable shop to do the fine tuning. I live in SoCal. Im open to all suggestions.

junk the ones that you have and pick up one of our coilovers! if the bracket broke off and the ride is that horrible why are you still trying to run them? stiff, crap, bumpy ride does not mean that it is an aggressive track tuned coilover thats going to improve your handling..

Why did you buy a set of shocks with 16/14 spring rates. They are obviosuly not spring rates you would run on the street and expect a comfy ride. 16/14 rates are track only. Turn the adjustment **** til your fingerbleed. Adjusting the valving isn't going to help you. Unless you send them back to be revalved and re-springed (assuming they do this) it's hopeless.
