dust shields

so I have a 03 base model and I recently installed new pads and rotors. now the dust shields are rubbing against the rotor. can i remove the dust shields? should I just buy new rotors again?

Just bend the shields out of the way or cut them off

yea i just bent those f***ers in right now. no more grinding. it musta bent when my dad was stepping on the new rotor when i was installing coilovers. o well its all fixed now. thanks guys
