Can anyone link me to the review Andy made for the Hipermax III coilovers he made a while back. I've read the one where he test drove the HKS G35, but i can't find the in depth review of them on his car.
Also, has anyone else got any more good reviews of the coilovers. I've read there great for the street, but do they hold up well to track duty too?

I've never seen any such review IIRC. Overall, the std III's feel very similar to the HKS RS that they replaced, though a touch stiffer. Comfortable at lower damper settings even on imperfect roads. Beyond about 1/2 way up the click range, the adjustment **** really doesn't feel like it is doing anything (typical of coilovers with such high amounts of adjustment). They are quiet, and allow a good amount of height adjustment. I've had the RS's (the older model that HKS had before these) on my car for the past several years and have been happy with them in mixed use street/track. Track use consisted of mainly Lime Rock, which at the time was a mix of smooth/rough pavement, and I ran r compounds (A048). I'd consider myself a medium skill level overall (been doing track days, etc for 18 years and I've done a few driving schools in that time, though never anything on a truly competitive level, all just for fun). I don't think I've used the sport versions yet.
track duty is a very broad, usually overused term
on what tires? what is your skill level? what type of 'track' use are we talking about? competition oriented or your typically HPDE/club day?

Well, as far as track duty goes it will be competitive (timeattack). I'll be running toyo R888 tires on the track, and regular rubber on the street. As far as skill goes, ???? I suppose intermediate.
I was also considering the Cusco Zero2 and the BC Racing coilovers. The main appeal of the BC racing is the price tag and the stiffer rear spring rate (compared to the cusco).
Ultimately i would like a coilover that performs well on the track, and that is bearable on the street. It doesn't have to have great street manners (although bear in mind roads in Spain are ****!!)

spring rates from coilover to coilover really tell you nothing
there is no coilover that will be comfortable on the street and truly competitive in time attack - you will have to be prepared to set up any unit for each individual event and then possible swap out springs, etc for when the car is back on the street

Granted, you can't have both. But what i mean is i'm prepared to sacrifice streetability for better handling, but i don't want full on race spec coilovers, and ofcourse i don't want to break the bank. Once the car goes on to full track duty, and i get better, then i will upgrade to some top notch race pec suspension.
Have you got any experience with the cusco zero2? There aren't that many reviews of them on here.

there are many reviews over the years on the cusco's, just gotta search around for them a bit
problem is, none are in the US, and with recent distribution changes for Cusco, none will be available in the forseeable future except via an air order
HKS, Zeal, Ohlins would be what I would suggest, or KW ClubSports
