Default Nismo S-tune Vs. Bc Racing coilovers

Hi guys,

my question is, what is better?

Now have Bc Racing coilovers in my car, and I want to change Nismo S-tune suspension kit.

Thanks.

Toñin.

Hi Adam,

I have bc racing suspensions, but I can't regulate them profit to extract them, Nismo have an easy installation. I have thinking of mounting nismo that already comes quite regulated

Sell the BC, throw on Nismo, hire a translator.

seems he is using one of those online translation programs that translates everything literally. seems he is asking if the nismo s-tune is better than the BC coilovers as far as install.

Hi!!

I´m a friend of Toñinz, yesterday I was testing his car with the BC Racing Suspension.

He has a problem. He isn´t able to regulate them correctly. Not the front axle, that works well, is the rear.

So bumpy even in the hardest positions. We have a problem in Spain ( write in foreing languages is also another problem ) because nobody has knowledge about the 350z, and there aren´t any proffesional able to regulate his suspension.

Considering this, I think that Nismo suspension is a good choice in this case. No regulations, but they have predetermined adjustment made specifically for our car.

And I know him, and which he is lokking for a good suspension but anything too stiff or radical.

Sorry for my english.

Thanks
Alex

So you are saying that even after adjusting the dampening all the way to stiff, the car is still too soft? And to correct this you want to buy an entire new suspension that is preset and basically non adjustable?

Have you contacted BC?

Alex - post a picture of the rear spring/damper installation (from under car, car on lift) so we can see where you have preload etc. Also, what settings are you using for the rear damper adjustment? How many clicks from full stiff?

actually i think he meant it the other way around, that the harder setting is too stiff and bumpy due to the poor quality of the roads there. full hard setting will jar your teeth out on a bumpy road

I´m saying Toñin´s words, not mines. Yesterday I drove the car in straights and only a few corners. But the car lacks a lot of traction (275/35 19), that makes me think about an extremaly hard regulation. It would be better regulating the dampening more to the softer side. And these hardness probably causes that bumpy handling.

If 1 is the softnest and 32 the hardest, now is set at 27. I think...he has to do the picture

Thanks
Alex

Is he more worried about the ride quality being too stiff or the loss of traction he is getting?

If your roads there are poor, i would recommend adjusting too a much softer setting.

The above comment made is correct, though, what you have now is adjustable... and i dont think the nismo is ( too any great degree anyway) so you should stay with BC if the roads there are bad.

Hola tio.

Suerte!
