Suspension.. Guess that part!!!
So i had a bit of a mishap last year.. Shop replaced anything bent, i went for an alignment and everything is good but my rear left toe. 0.8.
I don't have time to screw around with shops so I grab some SPC toe bolts and set off installing. Rear right was a piece of cake. But obviouslly something is bent on the rear left.
After dropping the spring bucket, no matter what i do when I lift it back up it's got mad toe so I can't get the bolt in. I've tried pushing the wheel while i jack the spring bucket and I just can't get it.
My question for you suspension gurus. My thinking is the spring bucket is bent. Could it be anything else stoping the mobility? I know suspension is a big jigsaw puzzle. One piece moves another etc.
I was wondering why the toe bolt so bloody hard to get out on this side. Now I know. And if anyone is thinking "just dremel both sides since most people only dremel towards the center of the car".. Already did. Still about 3mm off getting the bolt in

I didn't think it was too bad.. I was trying to be short and too the point. People don't read long winded posts..
But i appreciate the idea... I will have to check that tommorow. Would be nice if that's all it is. Still open to suggestions though since I'll be under the car anyways. I personally don't see what else I would adjust to get more leverage.

I still believe it is a case of something being out of wack though. The alignment shop (very reputable) could get the toe to 0.8. That's the best they could do.
So obviouslly it's not justa fluke that I'm having a ***** of a time getting the part that controls the toe back in and connected.

Play with the position of the jack on the lower spring seat. You can change the angle of the arm depending from which side of the rear spring seat you jack from.
So, you cant get the bolts to align at all? Did you install the left side per our discussion in the other thread? Are you lowered?
If you had a mishap and had things bend, there is definitely a chance something wont align. Furthermore, if before purchasing the toe bolts, a reputable alignment shop could only get your toe to 0.8, there is a good (no, great) chance something is out of whack. If you post pics of how the arm is aligning with the subframe mounting point I think we will have a better chance of diagnosing whether it is an install related issue or something more serious (rear subframe damage, bent spring arm, damaged suspension components, etc)
