Exclamation Help with a Slip problem plz!

Alright, I bought my first Z about 3 weeks ago. Its a 2005 with 42,000 miles on it. When I bought it, I wasnt aware of a lowering kit, nothing in the description. So, after about 1000 miles of driving, the rear tires on the inside were ruined. Also the car had always kinda pulled to the right a little bit. So I took the car in, got the rear aligned, both sides were out 3 degreez. Had em check the front, tow was out on the right front. Everything was taken care of with two new tires in the rear. Now the car feels funny, has more body roll, still pulls to the right, and my main issue now is, if im coming into a corner a little hard, I can hear the tire rub, or it sounds like it. Also the slip light comes on. Would anyone have any opinion on whats wrong? Thanks

What are the front and rear tire sizes?
Brands and/or model of tires?

Do the tires clear the fenders? How low is the car, etc?

The tire sizes are 225/45 in the front and 245/45'z in the rear on 18in rims. The tires are toyo proxes 4. Also, the fronts are kinda sunk in the fenders spork. Thanks

Those are the OEM tire sizes so there shouldn't be a problem with VDC/TCS kicking in. They definitely shouldn't be rubbing unless the car is extremely lowered.

If they truly are rubbing, it should be pretty bad. Bad enough to cause the slip light to be triggered - I don't know if that's possible???? If that is the case, you should be able to see rub marks on the tires.

New tires are slippery, they are coated with a release agent that has to wear off before they grip as good as your other one do. That could be the problem you are seeing.

The body roll, pulling to the right and "feeling funny" sound like suspension problems more than tire problems.

Thanks for the input Dave. Ive pulled both tires off in the front. The inside lip of the tire on the left front is worn. Now, if im thinking correctly, that should be due to the right front being out of tow? As if.. when im turning, its pulling and putting more pressure on the left inside lip of the tire, causing it to wear. Maybe? I dont know.. thats my only assumption. As for rub marks. The left side, shows on the inside rear of the fender well, you can see a fairly noticable rub mark. On the right side tire, I cant find any rub marks inside the fender well or on the tire itself. Tire looks fine with normal wear. Its all kinda confusing, how my right tow was out, yet it looks like its causing problems on the left side. Maybe I should just take it to a new tire place for a whole inspection and alignment check. Im lost....

Thanks

Some members with lowering kits have never got the suspension right. If you are rubbing the inside of the tires, spacers may be a solution.

i recently lowered my z and almost had the same problem well atleast with the tires not being the right camber and toe. you might have to get an aftermarket camber kit that can extend it to the perfect degree. as far as the slip light coming on I had all my lights go on once they installed the camber kit because they did not space the abs sensor in the front correctly so that might be the issue for the rear camber kit.
