Default Creaking in the suspension?

I just bought an 06 Base model 350z in April, and now I am hearing a creaking noise in the front end only when I am driving slow. It only happens when I'm slowing down or turning, I'm not sure what it is or weather it will be covered under warranty, any honest opinions would be great considering I do not know a lot about this kind of stuff ... thx

Rattles, creaks and squeaks are difficult to diagnose and fix. The car should be on a lift, with someone in the car bouncing up and down (literally).

WD-40 is great but does not fix anything. Creeks from components like shocks indicate that they are failing. Good luck.

squeaks aren't regular sounds. The Z can be a bit noisy, but I haven't heard squeaks on my 06... (knock on wood) I'd get it checked out to be safe.

I would use a teflon based lubricate.......but first off i would get the Z in the air and check/inspect for any binding or indications of wear, metal on metal spots. shinny sports or spots where oil junk is smeared and see if there is a cause for the noises you hear...

Dude, take a look at your compression rods. I have had that noise (or a noise similar) twice and both times it was compression rods. They may not need repairing, just readjusting and re-torquing.

Funny how you have to be specific with the noise from the Z. lol

Which one of these means something is wrong with your Z: a)rattles b)squeeks c)creaks d)hum e)vibration at certain speeds f)quiet ride

My '08 started creaking from the front about 2 weeks ago. It sounds like an old pickup truck when I'm driving on anything other than fresh pavement. I'm taking it in for service next week. It shouldn't sound like this after only 2400 miles.

Locate your endlinks on the front and rear of your car. If the ball joint on the endlinks do not rotate easily and feel like they are stuck or "binding" its time for some new endlinks. They are inexpensive and found them for about $20 a piece. Im about to replace my fronts because they are completely binded in the front and cause major clunks and creaks while driving slow and hitting bumps.

+1. Endlinks are a common culprit for creaking/clunking.

Just a couple of loose bushings, cost me nothing!
