I have the Tein Basic's. I personally would not recommend them for any type of competitive racing.

They are suitable for street use IMO. I base this off a few experiences and assumptions:
  • Rather soft for a racing application
  • not adjustable
  • shock dyno's of Tein's have been all over the place

I'm not sure what you're asking. If it was me and I was planning on tracking my car, I would go with a different brand of coilovers. If you're dead set on Tein, you'd probably want to at least get one of their high end set ups.

Keep stock spring and get good dampers. What class are you setting your car up for?
