there are no standard spring rates - they are totally up to the user, as they are built to order units

I think it was you I told that the Truechoice Phase IV coilovers suffered from a poor adjustor design that prevented them from offering proper control levels in the softer settings for a daily driver. But, here you have another twin tube design with a huge price tag and no info to know what your getting. I liked the Variant 2 on the dyno, but it struggled on the higher settings because Kw, like many twin tube damper design's put's a over emphasis on rebound control because it lack's a piston diameter that can generate suffecient compression damping. Yes you get the reseviors, which will help oil volume and cooling. But until you see shock dyno's from KW for a 350Z clubsport damper, too many things are suspect. IMO, unless you have to have DA, I'd go with Ohlins DFV or Anze engineering Penske's or a JRZ setup.

Are you running HKS III sport?

If you want to push the issue on the Clubsport with Kw, contact tom.edge@kwautomotive.com

I would tell him you can't make a purchase decision without seeing dyno plots. I'll tell you right now, he refused to send me plots for the Variant 1, 3 and clubsport. He said the only one's they will release out of germany really high end triple and quad adjustable monotube motorsport labeled stuff. And I'll caution you on any lengthy conversation with him, he said something about how the Variant 2 valving is and how the oem dampers are valved that was not correct at all. He's a really nice guy, but I had plots in question in front of me while in the phone so I knew better.

I do have the following spring rate spec on the 350Z clubsport, because of what Adam say's, verify what I show.

KW Clubsport Coilovers for 350Z
twin tube construction, double adjustble with seperate independent control of rebound and compression, same as a variant 3, but differs in stiffer springs with a linear rear vs progressive rear, valving is different, and you get upper mounts vs reusing the oem parts
855lbs/455lb
Lowering range: 0.8-1.5" F, 0.8-1.5" R.
