Ohlins DFV vs Impul

From what Ohlins USA told me, the Impal Ohlins is the same exact product as the Ohlins PCV, imported over here unchanged when the PCV was in the lineup. The DFV has superceeded the PCV and add's 2 features.
1. Aluminum damper shell and lower mount construction vs steel
2. PCV valve on both the rebound and compression side vs compression side only.
I have run the PCV on the dyno. To me, they are outstanding. They have a really good dynamic range that only a really good adjustor design can deliver. They enhance what you want enhanced, while avoiding the things you don't want in excess. At full soft they can go low enough for a respectable ride quality, likely between a oem 03 unrevised suspension and a revised 05 suspension (I vividly remember what the 03 was like, not so much what the 05 was like, I just remember the 05 was a lot better).
Oh just to say it, nothing stood out about the PCV rebound curves to suggest that it would have a huge benefit to getting the PCV valve on that side, never the less the DFV is all they make and it has that feature.
