Springs/Suspension for 19" Wheels?
I wanted to originally go with 18" wheels for ride/performance purposes but have truly fell in love with the pictures I have seen of 19" Volk TE37 and LE37T wheels. I plan to go with 19x9.5 +22 19X10.5 +22 wheels and want to know what suspension changes I should be going after to improve the "ride" of the car after installing the wheels. I have all stock suspension at this time. I am very interested in spring solutions since they are cheaper but will go for a coilover system if truly necessary. Thank you for your input.
Has no one changed their suspension after putting on 19" wheels? Maybe no one has an opinion about which brand/type of spring or suspension would work best with 19" wheels? Or there is no help for 19" wheels so I better stay with 17 or 18? I have never had a vehicle with 19" wheels so I really have no clue what the ride will be like compared to my stock 17" wheels, but it seems like everyone has said the ride quality gets worse so I was wondering if it could be made a little better with suspension upgrades.
The Teins seem to be the most versatile of the coilovers I have seen advertised. Does the electronic control unit mount inside the vehicle nicely? Does anyone have this setup with a picture?
I know it's hard to choose. But their is a limited selection on 350z's suspension parts. For me, I look for a susupension thats adjustable. Just in case I go from cruising to driving like a mad man (auto x, road racing, going through bay area traffic). The car is still young, meaning 3rd party parts are in progress. Hopefully, good products are to come.
