I got the tananbe GF springs. lowers 1.0 in front and 1.2 in rear.

i wanted to get the struts for the springs cause the stock struts will wear out sooner or later and dont wanna pay for install twice.

i was orignialy gonna go with the Tokico D-specs.
CAUSE i thought thoes would be the only ones that work with the srpings that are cheapest.

but then i read in another thread that these work with them too?

any input guys? kinda lost on what to do here.
dont care MUCH for handelin.. better then stock and i would be happy,. dont track the car or anything, just lowering for looks.

are the cheapers strust in the link pretty good?

btw i know the D SPECS are adjustable. dont really need that.

but concered about which would be stronger? By that i mean which would last longer? i dont what the BLUES to poop out on me after a couple years.

Go with the blues. there not gonna die on you. there better than stock for the lowered application. Save $

if so i rather just go with something with better valvin and that can handle lowerd springs better. such as the dspecs.

Everything else is adjustable... I doubt there is anything in the market that is not, to combine with lowered springs.

Koni / Bilstein(sp?) / Tokico D-Specs are prob your only option. And in terms of price, D-Spec are the way to go. I have heard nothing but praise on D-Specs also.

 

A better choice is to avoid the GF210 and get the D-spec shock and spring kit. You get a matched setup that offer's a real increase in front spring rate over oem. And for the same reason, I'd pick Eibach Pro-kit way befoe I'd go with GF210's.

You can also consider the Eibach Pro-S coilover, a kit happens to be for sale on G35 driver for $850 btw.

Koni's would not be a good choice with GF210's.

HP's are claimed to be stiffer then oem, have a really hard time believeing that since it's a entry level shock and that's the D-specs mission.

 

i guess i should go with the d specs then.

any strut has a limited shelf life - even more so when you force them to control a spring that is too low, like Tanabe's

You're wanting $300 struts to last the life of the car? That is an absolute impossibility. No strut, period, will last the life of the car.

True...No one knows how you drive, the road conditions in your area, or how hard you will push your car.

I love my Tanabe NF / TOKICO D-spec combo...

 

the Blue's are going to lower your can an extra 1/2" in the rear.. keep that mind if you go with them.. buddy of mine got bit by that one

Consider Beilsten or Konis. They're both very reputable and the valving is very good. Beilsten is probably what I would go with.
