Ugh on the way to work in Atlanta they had some road construction and these plates covering parts of the road... did my best to avoid them, but of course it felt like I almost bottomed out on one

Still makes me cringe

Hit a pothole on the freeway that I flat out couldn't see on a 1.75" drop, struck the front cross member pretty hard. Didn't hurt anything that one time, but doing that again wasn't a option. I raised the car up after that and have never returned to that height.

Ive been under mine the last couple days doing some work. I'm at stock height, and there are some pretty major hits under there. BIG scrapes on pretty much all the braces, a couple spots on the exhaust have been flattened out... I know I have done a couple, I'm guessing the previous owner tried taking it in spots it wants meant for.

Worst thing I have found is going in and out of underground carparks. A couple of times I have had to get rid of some ballast (Read: THE MRS... She wasn't too happy about me saying "GTFO your weighing down the car") to get out.

If you ride slammed and aggressive like me make sure you take off that one screw that holds up your fender liner in the front. There's only one screw on each front fender you remove and thats the one that in the middle (highest point on the arc). If you bottom out it will push the screw up and pierce a dimple on your fender.

Yeah that's not even that bad compared to some of those hardcore caveman riders. They barely fit credit cards in theres.

I hate big dips! The highway I go on there's a big dip on all 3-4 lanes and there's nothing I can do but bottom out when it hits so I try to slow down.

Best thing is to get the stiffest suspension you can..roll your fenders, pull your fenders, or even cut your fenders, run about -5 + negative camber, know your roads, highways, intersections, bumps.

I've cracked my Side Skirts because of unforseen dips and road construction. Seems like all freeways here in So-Cal are under construction. There's a specific freeway that I will never go down because every 3 miles there's a section theyve replaced and is not even with the rest of the road. So my front bumper hits, then the road drops and I bottom out with. Was going 75+ the first time and it hurt bad when I heard something crack then I see sparks. My Exhaust tips hit the pavement sending sparks in the air. Now we take my girls Prius lol.

bottoming out on the hwy too many times had me raise the car. plus its really gay having to park far away from the restaurant bc you can clear the speed bumps at the mall. 1st dates love that, NOT!
