Default bumpy ride

hey guys
i have a 08 350 and i lowered it with drop springs and it is the worst ride ever.. why is this? the drop is 1.5 inches. so any help would be greatly appriciated thanks

from what i have read there are two types of springs progressive and liner one of them keeps the ride feeling stock and the other makes it little stiff sorry if i was of little help

If you have linear springs with high spring rates, if will feel stiffer all the time. And if you dropped it 1.5 inches on the stock shocks, you are preloading the shocks a little. Hence, the bumpier ride.

sounds like you did not research suspension set ups and bought a set on ebay

It pays to spend some time to do some research before any mods. It is not too late though. Go to the suspension area. Issues with springs is probably the most discussed topic. Good luck

preloading the shocks a little? More like you have virtually 0 shock travel left

are you on eibach sportlines and stock shocks??? seems like you are. i just did the same thing. Are you on stock wheels and tires?? i noticed it was really bumpy with stock wheels and tires. i have 19s and T1Rs on and it feels a lot better.

yeah i am... and i have 20s on my car and wen i go over a small bump its like i just drove off a cliff

my good friend has a z way closer to the ground than me with stock shocks (i dont know the drop but its more than mine) and his ride is better than stock... i also have a friend in the "vip" fad and hes on tein drop springs that are cut on stock shocks and that babys smooth too
