Hey, I am in Arkansas, can't do a thing here, lol. But Gcoupe35 is right there in Cali.........hmm. I am willing to bet that you are correct narkotic and the same should apply to the Z. Now if all of us cheap-skates would just buy some and do a review on the Z, lol.

Narkotic has already invited me to drive with him in his car. Problem is I'm over 300 miles away. I had to decline the invitation, gracious as it was.

I've mostly been talked out of tying the basics for reason's other than the "if they bouce" issue, I dunno never say never, I'm buying a set of used Nismo headers, so maybe my Jic money just got spent.

Yeah, yeah, we even have stores that sell shoes. Of course, they usually go out of business, cause none of us buy or need shoes here.

Actually, there are not a lot of Zs here, my car gets a lot more looks than you probably get in Cali. Alot of our highways are concrete, so the bounce issue is a big issue for me. I doubt that I will go with the more expensive setups, although I really enjoy hanging corners. There are other things I want to do with this car, and spending 2 grand on suspension would put a huge dent in that.

Everyone would enjoy any impressions your friend could give on the basics when he gets them on his car. Thanks in advance.

I talked to tein on the phone awhile ago and they told me that when installed on the Z that your car is automatically lowered 1" in the front and .8" in the rear. I did not push the tech into telling me that that ment a bit of preload to keep the springs in place when the suspension is fully extended. I sure hope hope it does.

Hey man.. looks like you're still with your 350Z suspension. Well i've had the chance to take a few people for a ride in my car for a few miles on on freeway and regular road... They both loved the way it rode and mentioned that even the stock g35 setup had more bounce that I had with the basics. Anyway, you mentioned that i'm 300 miles away... That really isn't that far considering that you are going to blow at least 1K on suspension here, it might be a wise decision to make that quick road trip for a ride.

i have tein basics on my Z. lowered my Z so that there's abt a 1" gap between tires and top of wheelwell. no bounce at all, but w/ 19's the ride is extremely stiff. i had eibachs before and the ride quality was much better. talked to tein and they said the basic is less stiff than their flex kit at its "softest" setting and the height of the ride will not affect the stiffness. had the basics for abt 600 miles and it seems like the ride is a little more forgiving now.

Excellent, finally someone with a Z who has this suspension. So they are stiffer than stock, but less stiff than the flex. Interesting that the eibachs were softer in ride quality, of course they are progressive and use stock dampers. How is your body roll??? Is the body roll alot less than stock and with the eibachs?? Is the body roll stiff enough that you don't have roll, so you don't worry as much about sways??

Thanks for your thoughts.
