Default 350z springs on G35

i want to know if i will run into any problems installing the 350z H&R springs on a G35 coupe its a 1.5" drop. Will the ride be alot stiffer than stock? and does any one know what the spring rates are for the 350z and g35 stock. and will I have a real bad camber issue or will it be ok to ride around for a few months till i buy the camber kit

The G35 coupe and 350Z springs are the same parts, same spring rates. However, the struts between the two cars are valved allot differently. You may run into strut to spring performance problems if you try and run springs that are designed to perform well with the 350Z's much more aggressive strut valving. Their are some exceptions. RSR springs use spring rates that are the same as stock, and the eibachs for the Z and the G use peak rates that are the very close. The catch is this, your out of luck when you run into a spring maker like H&R that flat out will NOT!!! tell you their spring rates. So then it become's a issue of questioning Z owners that are running H&R's, problem their comes back to how the Z runs stiffer struts valving. BTW, if you call sprint, and sweat talk them, they'll likely tell you the spring rates for the 350Z application, but they might take the same position as H&R and refuse.

On a 1.5" drop it's pretty safe to say you'll have to invest in rear camber correction of some sort. I don't know of any means to adjust the front at this time. Save for the $995 Esprit camber adjustable arms that I found on one site, (book marked it somewhere).

Here's some info for you on various spring rates I have, stock and other's as noted.

Stock spring rates
F/R in lb/in
350Z & G35 Coupe: 347/419

Eibach's
350Z 1"front 1"rear 6364.14 296/384 front 316/421 rear
G35c 1"front 1"rear 6365.14 229/337 front 274/463 rear
Look at the difference's between the two Eibach rates, very closely.
