Default Whew, just installed front sway on an '08..

..I'm a 67 year old geezer and thought I'd have them both in today....BUT although Hotchkis calls for a torqueing of 40 lbs. for the drop link and bushing brackets, I can assure you the lug that put these on at the factory really put more than that on those bolts.

Had to go to Sears and get a LARGE breaker bar. Install was easy, getting off was tough.

After just the front I was beat, I'll do the rears tomorrow.

Sounds Good!! Up for some pics when you are finished with the Install. I was looking at the Hotchkis setup myself.

Nice job. The big a*s breakover bar will come in useful for many future mods.

Let us know the improvement on the way it handles afterward.

Who knows they say 67 is the new 37 lol

I loved the improvement after adding my Hotchkis about 6 weeks ago. I can tell you though, that the front one is the easy install That back one's a ***** to get off around the exhaust pipe.

Default lucked out on rears...

..actually had them on in 30 minutes, no wheel removal no muffler removal. After I loosened the old bar, I was twisten' and turnin' it this way and that and just as I was about to loosen a muffler hanger I spun it about 90 degrees from the normal axis (now in the same line as the drive shaft and after a move or 2 just about fell out.....WOW!

Now I made sure I put the new bar in with the same orientation and it worked.

Took a test ride up my favorite test road The Duryea Hill climb here in Reading PA and I was pleased. Push seemed to be gone and I could put power down early without the rear breakin' loose. I'm full soft (1st hole) in rear and medium soft (second hole in front)

I'm on a square setup 245x 18s all around with 8.5" Enkeis

The next AX is in a few weeks and we'll see how I line up with my regular competitors....

I'll be running STR next season....
