Front and Rear Bumpstop Question
Hi,
I'm helping a friend install nf210 springs/Tokico D-specs and now we have another question. The instructions recommend cutting the bumpstops before installation of the springs.
We noticed that the front bump stop is integrated into the dust Boot/shield. Are we supposed to cut it? Because it looks like if we cut it, we will loose the dust Boot/shield. Is there a smarter way to dissasemble everything or just don't alter it.
Then the rear shock and dust shield doesn't seem to want to come apart.
Anyhelp is appreciated

You cannot cut the bumpstops on 03/04 cars.
On 04.5+ car's you could pull out the soft foam insert in the rear dustshield/bump stop assemblies, but it dosn't have much mass so that would be rather pointless.
No matter the year, you can purchase aftermarket bumpstops. If your willing to kick to the oem dustshields to the curb.
Sad thing is the NF210 in no stiffer then oem springs, so you'll be into the bumpstops more then most any other spring choice. Which is why I do not recommend them.
