Default Quetion about brake..

Is it ok, to not resurface the rotor when changing to a new pad?

considering the rotor is still fine and has only 10,000 miles on it.

Yes, just be sure to bed in the new pads properly.

The resurface -not resurface debate is never ending. I want a fresh machined surface for a new brake pad but that's just me.

It really depends on the condition of your rotors. If it has deep grooves in it or if the rotor is a little warped then yes you should get it resurfaced. But if it is nice and smooth still then you would be fine with not getting them resurfaced.
