Default case of the whistling z

had my z for just over 3 months now and it suddenly started whistling at very low speeds (under 20kph)

i thought it was the brakes.. but its not because the sound goes when i brake..

anyone know what this is about?

cheers

Sam

Your intake, maybe a leak somewhere? I know you don't have a intake, but the popchargers like to whistle.

Sounds like an intake problem. Have one of your buddies rev up the engine while the hoods open so you can identify the problem. My money is on the intake.

You know, I've noticed a whistle myself, anywhere from 65 to 80 or so, with the top down. It seems to be the airflow around the mirror on the drivers side. If I put my hand in the way, the sound goes away. Move my hand, and it comes back. Sometimes just varying my speed a little will fix the problem too.
