Default GT-Spec Rear Tie Brace Help!!

i recently purchase the rear tie brace and need some help with the install. I understand u have to remove the two bolts, but do u need to support the control arm when removing the bolts so the spring doesnt fall out?...Also would i need to get alignment after i install this?

for the rear, you actually don't have to take off the bolts. the rear tie brace goes between the nut and the suspension member. jst remember to go on the other side where the bolts are, mark the position of the bolt with a sharpie in relationship to the piece behind the bolt. remove the nut on both sides of the car, these are facing the rear of your car, side on the tie bar, then the washer for each side, and screw the nut back on the bolt. now look at the bolt side and make sure the sharpie marks line up. torque to the right specs, and your done.

you should do an alignment after anyways, just to make sure everything is aligned correctly. i did this and did not notice any pulling to the left or right as the car drives... but i'm due for an alignment anyways.

hope this helps.
