Don"t get them wet, spray paint them with a primer/rust inhibiter every time you park, or never stop driving.

I know exactly what your talking about, take your wheels off to wash them if it matters that much to you.

That's what bare metal does when it gets wet. There's nothing you can or should do to them to prevent it.
You could spend a couple thousand dollars and get some carbon fiber rotors

^ doubt it. if u get water on any bare carbon-based metal (such as stock rotors), some rust will show after a few of hours unless u get the water off of there (manual dry, drive the car a few miles, etc.)

You could buy a two-piece rotor. The "hat" will be painted and resist corrosion.

Don't worry, you are not alone and there is nothing wrong with your rotors.
If it still bothers you, you can "tape" the surface before washing, Lol. And if you are caught up in rain on the highway, find an overpass and stop.

i still dont get it. why would you tape your rotors to prevent them from rusting when washing. its normal. once youre done and theyve rusted. if you roll your car forward 4 feet while holding the brakes it'll magically disappear.
