Default Rearspring mount mod required for Eibach Pro kit?

Hi,

I tried searching but could not find this specific question. I know that a lot of forum members have done the rear springmount mod because the lowering springs did not lower the rear as evenly as the front.

I was wondering if anyone has done the rear springmount mod when using the Eibach Pro-Kit springs. I called two shops earlier today, and they said the Eibach springs lower nicely and that the mod is unnecessary...

IMO - you have to be the judge of that. Get the kit on - if YOU think you want it lower in the back, measure, measure again, cut and install..

^^ what he said.

it's really a matter of personal taste. some people like a bit of a rake in their stance, and some people like their asses dragging.

Thanks for the input guys; I agree with the idea of putting the springs on , and them deciding.

Who knows, maybe the mod will be just enough to throw the rear camber out of wack

on my 06, running stock tires and prokits with the 1/2" springmount mod the rear was too dumped for me...

rear = no finger gap, front about a finger....

I put the stock springmounts on and I'm about a finger all around... perfect!
