Default about tein springs

long time ago, i heard some ppl saying that S-tech has softer feeling then h-tech..but then i checked this website and found out that s-tech is more stiffer than h-tech..is this right?
http://www.350zmotoring.com/forums/m...ing-rates.html

Is s-tech good for drifting and DD? I haven't found a thread about ppl using this as drifting..but i did find some threads that ppl use gf210 for drifting. Which ones better for drifting and DD? thx guys

S is more stiff bc it is a lower drop. H is meant to be more of a luxury spring, softer feel, closer to OEM.

S has progressive (harder) fronts and linear (softer) rear springs. Iirc, no other spring made combines linear and progressive springs.

Drop for S is .7" front, .6" rear.

Drop for H is something like .2" front, .2" rear. (all 4 linear, i think)

Drop for GF is 1" front, 1.2" rear. (all 4 progressive)

If you wanna drift your Z, i would get the GF's.

refer to:

linear springs are the preferred choice for predictability imo. if progressive, smaller gap between initial to final rates are preferred.

your best bet imo is just to save for coilovers

Just because GF give more lowering? or because it's stiffer? the car is for DD and time to time light drifting.
