Installed eBay Crossed/Slotted Rotors and Pads for $175 Shipped! Pics & Review Here
Firstly, I dont want to hear bashing and smart remarks that people love to do on this forum when it comes to ebay. Somethings are great and others are not.
This item in particular, was great. My rotors were pretty much warped and brake pads gone, so I decided to upgrade. I was honestly just going to purchase the OEM rotors and pads; however, I did want a bit more without spending some extra money.
I first went on the forums in the vendor classifieds and was very close in purchasing the crossed and slotted rotors ONLY, from a vendor. But then I came across them on ebay. ( I do still have to test these huys out a bit, but with hawk pads and see what happens to the rotors)
Found Drilled & Slotted Zinc Plated Rotors + Front and Rear Evolution Ceramic Pads for $174 Shipped. Amazing Deal!
I do track my car once a year and always use the hawk pads, but these are great for normal everyday driving. Big difference from the OEM setup. There is more of a bite and reaction is faster.
I really did not want to spend $275 or more on rotors and pads and I believe these are still up for sale on eBay.
Aesthetics look amazing too! The rotors are zinc plated and it makes everything look great from an exterior perspective.
I thought I would share this so that some people who are not ready to spend big buck on brakes could possible use this option, even though this is nowhere near a big brake kit. Nevertheless, it is still a great upgrade for $175!

Ya can't see pics here either...
I bought some ebayers a couple years ago, they lasted about 5 autox and 2 track days before I heard a loud SNAP then constant squeaking when coming to a stop on the track. Got to pit and checked my rotors, one cracked in two spots. To be fair these were cross drilled.
I thought the x-drilled were a bit ricey looking so I went with some R1concepts slotted only rotors all around. Very happy with them. I've got through probably 10+ track days and maybe 15-20 autox's and no probs, still look new in terms of thickness.
Be warned though and i'm sure tracking your car you've already noticed this, but stock brakes are too small to shed heat quickly. I had my brakes cooked after a few laps in 90F weather. I have a pretty close to square tire stagger setup and I was going into corners too fast because my brakes were cooked and I wasn't braking early enough at that point. Needless to say I drifted several corners unintentionally because of this. Not a good thing in most situations (unless its a drift course!)
Either way glad your happy with the buy. Hope they last for you...
