Default Tein Mono Flex help

So I just installed my tein mono flex and noticed on the front that I only have one inch of travel on the shock absorber before it hits the bump stop. Is this normal? The only thing I can think is that the spring is stiff enough that it won't travel that far upward. Thanks in advance.

did you set the spring preload according to tein's instructions? if so, then that should be fine.

This is true. OP- set 'em up as suggested in the manual and you'll be fine. I tweeked one corner afterwards to get it all level and have been running fine for 3 years now.

Not much if any at all. I do have a g35 so I don't know if that makes a difference. I might be at stock ride height I didn't measure before hand though. I will check teins specs but from my understanding on the front coilovers you want to be able to just barley twist the spring when there is no load on it. Then you move the shock absorber in or out to adjust the ride height.
