Carb cleaner on brake parts
OK,
I messed up a little. I was installing new pads on the front brakes and I grabed a can of what I thought was brake cleaner. I sprayed some around the caliper pistons by the rubber seals before I backed the pistons back into the calipers. I also sprayed a little on on the rotors to make sure they were grease free from the install. I was not until I was putting everything up that I noticed I used the wrong can (they are both oreillys brands so they have the same color scheme).
I backed my car out and ran water over the calipers but this was after everything was installed, wheels and all.
Any chance I damaged my piston seals, that is the only thing I can think of where this could be an issue. None got on the new pads.

Nevermind... just read the title of your post. I've heard carb cleaner is the exact same ****. I wouldn't worry about it.
