Default SPC toe kit problem.

I just want to make sure that I'm not overlooking something as far as the toe kit goes. Is the bolt supposed to have a flat spot all the way up it? The bolt that I received only has a flat spot as far as the threads go and it is still a little too large to go into the oblong washers.

I have the same issue. I contacted them and am waiting on their reply. There is at least one other person besides us that has this same issue.

I had a spc toe bolt thread I made and had some pics in it. Not finding the thread. I'll keep looking. I have an extra set in the garage. I'll go take a look and report back soon.

He has the flat spot but only on the threads. He's asking if the entire bolt is supposed to have the flat area like in AcidJake's pictures.

The washer/spacer/whatever it is won't fit over the flat spots on the thread either.

I pm'd them so I will post once I get a response. What sucks is that I installed the new camber arms so I have no choice but to get my car aligned tomorrow. I will have to pay to have it re-aligned once I get the correct toe kit.

Of course I guess I could just go without driving the car for a week or two.

Actually, I was trying to quote this:

Yes, they are suppose to have that flat spot. How else do you think the bolts would go through the eccentric washers? Also Ib4JasonYacomesupinthisbishandopenacanofwhopasss

But, it looks like you got it figured out.

That's the whole point of an edit so someone doesn't re-post what you wanted to take out. Obviously you don't get the point of an edit.

Anyways, OP I went out to the garage and they have the flat spot all the way up the entire bolt.

This thread: https://my350z.com/forum/brakes-and-...olt-issue.html

Has a similar question. Jason says they are the wrong bolts and need to be the ones that go all the way up the entire bolt. Check it.

Do you see these rectangle boxes with words in them? They are called posts. You read them from top to bottom, left to right. They have to do with a "subject," usually found at the top of the page in bold letters. These posts are very familiar to a "written conversation." Now, if you post something (Post #1 for argument's sake) and someone else reads it, then comments (Post #2), this adds to the conversation.

If the "author" of Post #1 edits what he/she said, after it has already been commented on, that will complicate the conversation leaving future readers of the thread confused.

Homework for tonight:
Read, then comprehend, the post before you comment. There's no need to edit if it's written correctly the first time.

It's nice you finally decided to contribute to this thread with advice instead of making smartass remarks.

if anyone has an issue, shoot me some pics and I'll get it resolved with Eibach immediately. Seems this last batch of theirs had this issue with being misboxed with the wrong bolts

lowcel, already sent your pics over to Eibach this afternoon

I received a pm back from Z1 Performance apologizing and telling me that they will take care of it. That is all that I can ask for, problems happen, customer service is what shows what a company is made of.

Awesome, problem solved....Z1 is top notch in my book...

yeah lowcel, you just happened to get the wrong bolts entirely......

The correct bolts for the Z would be just like Acidjake posted above:

Mill flat would be the entire way so that the eccentrics can be on either side of the rear aluminum sub frame lug.
