Default Clutch getting stuck partially depressed

I noticed it first after a long drive, i thought maybe i had done a terrible job in the stop and go traffic and the clutch was just hot or something (I don't know how they work really) but now when i go to drive, i have to turn my car off after just a few feet initially because the clutch will get stuck halfway down and not return up until I pull it back up with my foot. Could my clutch be wearing out or something? I have a track event coming up in 2 weeks, should i be thinking about a new one so that it doesn't cause me any troubles while racing?

this could be a number of issues: slave cylinder leaking, air in the clutch line (the 05 clutch line is designed like weird roller coaster) or a seal in your master cylinder has gone bad. it could possibly be a broken pivot ball but if your still able to put the car in gear i doubt that could be the issue.

I'm pretty sure the problem is not using the search function- especially for terms like "clutch pedal sticking". This may or may not be covered by your warranty.

So it doesn't have anything to do with the clutch wearing out then....what about when you accidentally like burn it while driving (holding it down, or something) and it gets stuck then for a bit, is that different?
