Carbotech. Need insight
So I purchased a set of XP10 for the front and XP8 for my rear setup. Are the XP8's louder than the XP10's? While rolling my XP8's are screeching away which I'm sure is normal but the XP10's are quiet.
Also my front rotors are showing what looks like hot spots. There's about 4-5 small circles on the rotors, placed in random places not showing any signs of cracking or pad deposition. Is this normal or is it time for my rotors to be resurfaced? Other than that everything is excellent, no vibrations, or anything under hard or soft braking.
I am going to try the sharpie trick tomorrow. I want to verify my pads are evenly worn.
