Default Non Brembo Brakes / Standard rear brake differences for 2003 - 2008

I've been doing some searches but couldnt find a definite answer on our rear non-brembo brakes. This is what I gathered:

2003-2005 Non Brembo:
Rotor size Front: 296mm x 24mm
Rotor size Rear: 293mm x 16mm
Caliper Front: Single piston
Caliper Rear: Single pistion (#192793)

2006+ Non Brembo:
Rotor size Front: 320mm x 28mm
Rotor size Rear: 308mm x 16mm
Caliper Front: Dual piston
Caliper Rear: Single pistion (#192793)

2003+ Brembos
Rotor size Front: 324mm x 30mm
Rotor size Rear: 322mm x 22mm

So obviously the front brakes are totally different between the two years. But whats going on with the rears? The calipers have the same part numbers but the rotors are larger. Did they change the brackets?

I ask because I'm considering upgrading my rears to the 2006+. Also, I noticed the brembos and 06+ non-brembos have very similar rotor sizes. Anyone know if there is test data out there on how much performance differences these two have? I have seen the 03 vs Brembo vs Stoptech comparison, but no 06+ comparisions.

The only difference is the bracket and rotor. I've posted that many times, and have done the swap in two cars.

cool, thanks for confirming that. Where did you get the new brackets? Anyone sell the brackets alone without the calipers?

In both cases, i got the brackets from the car that i installed the BBK on. Doubt you could gte it from Nissan, but you can try.

super old thread I know, but thought I'd just ask here instead of creating a new post.

If i wanted to upgrade my rear rotors from the 2005 to larger 2006+ rotors I just need the new rotors and this bracket?

Correct. Also you will have to cut the shield lip off for the bigger rotor.
