They look the same, but for some reason monroe makes one for the Z but not for the G...are they different?

 

Shock mount, the Z and G do not use struts.

Yes, they are 100% the same.

I'd be curious to see the actual monroe part and know how much it costs.

Dust shield/bump stops are different in the front. 04.5+ Z's and 05+ coupe's with the sport suspension use a different rear dustshield/bumpstop vs all sedan's and coupes without the sport suspension.

 

Rockauto sells the strut mount ( they call it a strut mount as well...lol ) for $37 and it seems to include the cushion ( which is normally sold separately ).
