Default cut springmount

Hey guys, over the night i cut my spring mounts by .65" on my stock springs. Weird thing is that the drop shows me only about .3" after about 2 miles of driving. When i was installing the spring and mount, i tried to mount the top first but it was impossible so i mounted the bottom first. After the installation, i checked to see if all the sides of mounts are sitting evenly against the springs bucket and the top of the spring mount, and they were siting all evenly. Do i need to drive around more for them to settle in?

ghetto. gets some coilovers and a camber kit. install, get alignment and call it a day. i really dont see why you would need it to settle. doesnt make any sense.

Nothing needs to settle... What you cut from the springmount is the drop you get, it's that simple... Did you cut the mounts evenly?

Your best bet is to get springs or coilovers and do it the right way....

getting springs or coilovers is doing it the right way? I'm just cutting the spring mounts so that the rear sits close to even with the front. I did cut the mounts pretty evenly. It wouldn't be like .3 " difference.
