sooo my driver side tire getting inner tire wear
due to the fact that i hit my lower control arm. sooo ordered a new one and some new SPL bushing while at it ^^
NOW for the fun stuff.. it was making a grinding noise over every bump.
found the culprit! the metal frame part? that the lower control arm is attatched to was BENT and was making contact with the control arm.

i took a pry bar and bent it back as close as i could get it to replicate the other side.
after all this i got an alighment done (without replacing the lower control arm yet)

a little off where it was hit and bent. but this causes tire wear. so my next step is to replace the control arm. but i am thinking even if i replace the arm i will have no change in alighment.. since the control arm attatches to the part that was bent, that if its not perfectly bent back to the correct position that it will not fix the neg. camber issue i am having with just this one wheel.
how would i go about fixing this???
thanks!

okay the part you circled in the pic - the part you bent back...thats the K-member...ie. black steel cross beam that supports the engine(engine mounts),etc...
1. look closely at it, as i suspect that its tweaked..........
2. Remove the arm and get a long bolt and see if the holes line up...front hole to back hole, etc...
3. look everwhere the best you can......use rulers etc to measure, etc
4. only thing you can do other than that is to take the car to a good "collision" repair center...a center that would have the lazer body alignment machines and see if they have 350z data. (ie, try a local nissan collision repair center). If they do, they can hook up and do a body lazer alignment and pin point what part is bent and off..

if that turns out to be the issue and you wanna replace the K member, you can do so with a tower engine hoist to support the engine in place while you pull the k member out from under the car and replace it...
good luck...
I would go to a lazer alignment collision center...

wow very nice! i made an appointment for an alighment shop and they said they would try to diagnost it and see if they can bend it back..
but i guess body shop with laser is the right way to go! thanks man!
so is the body shop with the laser tool going to be able to fix this? or just tell me its messed up and i have to replace it?
cause they want to charge $500. which i dont mind paying if they fix it. but dont wanna pay that much to tell me its bent lol.
so usually they can fix these kind of things?

review the suspension 101 sticky and the 350z FSM.
moreso, notice that the left side says +0.2 and on the opposite side it says -1.3
the accuracy of that shops alignment machine rounds off...
