Default carbon strut bar flexing

I just bought a dry carbon strut and I notice it flexed compared to my stock one. Is this bad?

Yes, put your stock one back on.

This is the front strut brace in the engine bay? And you know that it is flexing how?

Post a link to what you bought. Is it 100% cf or just cf wrapped?

I'm going to try to get my money back. Says dry carbon. I used my own weight to test the flexing. Compared it with the stock one and the stock one flexed less. I take my car to the track and wouldn't want any loss in stiffness. At this point in time I just want my moneyback.

Sounds like the most accurate test ever.

I knew that while driving you can experiance pushing from each end of the bar due to the strut towers flexing in , pulling if they flex out and twisting. What part of the car would provide a bouncing from the middle effect?

It might not be the best test, but since it flexed more than the stock, I'm not so sure about replacing the stock now. I'm only 123lbs, and if it flexes with my weight, imagine a 3100lb car(of course not all that weight will be distributed to that area).

Main point, it bends more than the stock.

The strut brace is no big deal. It does not connect to the top of the strut. It only bolts to the top of the strut tower.

Well, look up how much CF compresses and how much it will stretch.
