Default Help tire wear after lowering car/ front camber

Hi I lower my car about 1.5” in the front. After that I had the car aligned. Make story short, the inside of both front tires is wearing out way to fast compared to the rest of the tire. You can actually see the inside threads of the tire, while the middle of the tire probably has about 70% + life left. do you guys think I need to get camber arms???, i think I lower the front about 1.5 or more actually not sure cause I did it with KW adjustable coilovers not lowering springs. I’m contemplating getting camber arms but I wanted to check with experience people, any comments, greatly appreciated. here is a pic

Thanks

you should really do research. But since no one else seems to want to help....

From what I understand... anytime you're dropping over an inch you're going to "need" Adjustable Arms and the Rear Adjustable Camber Arm. Since you're on KW you are probably around 1.5" dropped if you're at max drop. Anytime you drop 1" it seems that you might be ok w/ stock suspension *(edit, rather stock arms and rear toe /end edit)* but it's a case by case thing. If you drop anymore w/o these items you run the risk of what you see now. I'd definitely suggest buying arms unless you want to be buying new tires at an alarming rate.

well i just ordered spl front arms, i allready have a camber kit in the back. the reason i didn;t have it in the front was because as stated in many post sometimes you dont have to upgrade the front. but i probably need to. i will try to do it my self hopefully not to hard. i install the coilovers and the rear arms so it should be ok.

I have my car dropped 1.5 inches all around on coiloverZ, and now I have the tires unmouted & remounted to opposite sides in the front, they are directional tires, every 6000 miles. I have no problems doing this, maybe I too should have gone with adjustable arms ALSo.

BTW drop your car more & get rid of the wheel gaps!!!!

your toe settings sound like they are off. You need front camber arms!

Camber arms will do the trick, but i still like running -1.5 up front on the street.
