Default Question about durability of coilovers

I know this is a common question so I tried searching but I guess i was not using the correct search phrases. I was wondering how many miles on average a coilover system like the Bilstein PSS10 can go. I have read that shocks usually go after some miles. I have also seen the terms "rebuilding" and "leaking" used with coilovers and kind of makes me think they go out at some point. Any input or link to such info would be greatly appreciated.

If you want 100K mile reliability, stay with stock parts.

The question was, on the average how long they last. I was not asking for 100k or anyK mileage

It's really not much to send them in for service. Shocks are shocks, they all have seals, and oil that wear out.
