Default Air Force Air Suspension

I have been doing tons of searching but I have not found any reviews on the Air Force Cup air suspension for the 350z.....I have found many threads here of people about to purchase the kit or considering it, but none of some one who has actually pulled the trigger....This thread is to see if there is anyone here running the air force air suspension, and to get reviews on the kit....From those who have it

I'm looking into air for my Z, but I might just piece a setup together(since I have some parts already in my storage)

I like the fact that the struts are adjustable

I am not looking for who sells the kit, although that may be helpful for those who are looking to purchase the kit.....I am more interested in handling and the overall kit itself...I am currently boosted with powerlab single turbo, and I want to make sure I won't lose handling if I choose to go this route.

What do you do with this Air Force suspension? Can you make the car jump up and down?

air suspension and handling should not be used in the same sentence.

WOW THANK YOU Davidsv and terrasmak for your educated responses to my thread.....they were very helpful

Reason for me wanting to go with the bag suspension is for car shows and to get in and out of drive ways without scraping and angling....Other airbag setups such as Air runner, IMO the ride quality sucks....The lack of struts= crappy ride/ handling, again my opinion. With the airforce kit, its like the best of both worlds....Bag+ Coilovers= WIN ( hopefully) I say hopefully, because I don't know of anybody running this kit, REASON FOR MY POST.....To get the opinion of those who already have the kit

People who run this kit or any air suspension are not concerned with handling, just looking pretty.

Air runner has struts, actually it is like a coilover strut + a bag....

These Air Force are air cups they fit over your coilover (you keep the coil/spring) and are able to raise your car up to go over an obstacle. So your car will still handle like its on coilovers because it is when the air is down. Now when the air is up it will handle like ****, you need to ride with the air out and raise it up over a speed bump or driveway but you wont be able to go lower than what the coilover is set at unlike a bag...

Look up Roberuta Cup suspension and also Platinum VIP has their own set as well...

Cup systems are cool - but 4-5g's for 2.5 inches always seemed crazy. plus they wont work w/ all coilovers.

this go from 2-2.5g's for the front, might not be a bad alternative for some of you.

The Air Force kit is a cup system but it does not fit over your coilover set up, it come with its on coilpack/ coilover set up....

I agree with many of you....4 to 5gs to go over speed bumps is ridiculous. which is why I chose this set up. I found a vendor that carries the Air Force suspension for a fraction of what most pay.

Sounds like a wise move. High for driving. Low for show.
