So in a way, pairing them with DSpec shocks will be a +. Also looking at the OPs car
it looks like one can achieve a very nice level with a rear springmount mod.
The car looks very awsome the way it is though.

It looks very level, just needs the wheels pushed out to show it.

Yes I'm sure any upgraded shocks would make it just that much better.

If my memory is correct, the ride height for the Spec R's is 25.500 in front and 26.250 in the rear (measured to the center of the wheel arch from the ground). Perfect rake IMO, for performance and looks - not so good for driveways and dips.

That ride height is actually very well matched to the car. I found that out this weekend when I took a new set of coil-overs out to California Speedway, set about .375-.500 inch higher with springs rates that are substansially higher. To my suprise the roll was noticably greater... but wait that shouldn't be the case. The only answer I have is the Z is really height sensetive (Note: also had a little stickier rubber on the car which would cause that as well). I more than likely will be mimic'ing the ride heights from this setup and fine tuning from there. These springs don't have a pronoucned progressive spring feel but they in fact are. I attribute that to the R&D Swift put into this setup. In short... great set of springs.
Most people forget that the 350Z relies a lot on the stock, progressive bump stops as additional spring rate. While you may be starting out at some spring rate, the bump stops come in fairly early and increase that rate. When you remove the bump stops you lose that increased rate.

For the swifts you do not need to cut the bumpstops.

Were you required to grab rear camber arms after installing the swifts? I'm about to install them and I'm considering just trying to get within spec without.

So were you able to install them without the camber arms?? I've bought the springs but I haven't installed them yet and want to know if I'll need to buy the camber kits or not...

All cars are different , some require a kit after 1/2 inch drop, others can go for about 1.25 before needing one.

Do you know what the distance is from fender to the center of the wheel? Some folks might run fatter tires which would throw this off.

I am saving up to overhaul my suspension (some front bushings are done for) and I'm thinking about these with Bilsteins. This drop looks good... would be perfect with spacers and G35 Rays

Here's a look at them with 245/45/18 front & 275/40/18 rear

Just had to rez this zombie thread to say thanks for the great info, and helpful pictures. I'm going to be ordering Bilstein B8's with Swift Springs and SPL rear camber arms. I can't wait to see how the Z feels after that. The drop is perfect too, thanks to seeing your pictures. Very clean black Z, and those rotors look nice.

The silver Z, too. Thanks for running a 275/40 tire. Most people run 35's. I want to go with 40's too, eventually. 285 if possible.
