Rally worthy parts
I am trying to find some coilovers and other needed things to take the 350z off the tarmac.
So far I have found Ksport and D2, which I heard are the same. And Proflex, I emailed them and waiting for them to send me back a price.
If anyone know where I can find something else please chime in.
Goal here is for the coilovers to allow me to raise the car 1-3" for the dirt/sand/gravel then lower the car back down to factory or lower.
Also anyone know how to make skid plates other than, cut metal, weld/bolt the car?

as a kid we used to steal street signs for atv skid plates. wouldnt advise that now that i look back, but they work awesome. Climbing the freeway sign poles for one large enough may be hazardous as well. They have local rally type events down there? I hope its a rwd only class, that would be insane offroad. sounds fun
There are a few events down here. Sandblast rally next weekend!!
But this is for fun only. I used to have a 94 Impreza and still hang with the Subie guys. I'm originally from the Mountains here and love the dirt. It's much easier on your car too. Well as long as you stay on the road :P
Oh and before someone says "stop destroying the car" or "it can't be done". Check this out.

Wow, most of them sound like they are running a dog box, most had single exhaust, i saw a clip that showed a true coilover setup.
That would be fun, just need to find some strong coilovers, strong suspension arms, i would change over to the G37 rear subframe (steel vs aluminum) and you will need a real LSD.

Rally 350Zs are mainly run as part of the 350Z Cup in northern Europe. Typically they run a custom Proflex Evo3 suspension, AP brakes, and a basically stock engine. No dog boxes or anything exotic.
The US contact for Proflex is B&G in San Diego.

Ok, so I got a reply from Proflex on the coilovers. They said that they could make them for 960 euro, here it comes. EACH.
I was planning on spending $3-$4k but that comes out to something like $5200. Granted that includes shipping it is just out of my budget right now.
I have emailed B&G mentioned a few posts ago and I hope they can give me a better quote.

most of what I saw on the video was on roads, or roads with a little **** on them. they all look like they need a lot more extensive work for legit rallys
Who of your buddies or your old Soobie dudes use for their suspensions?
I'd contact Koni
